Follow them on Facebook for daily workouts. Currently, they are posting one workout a day, but have plans to add more videos of at-home workouts in the coming weeks!
Planet Fitness
This isn’t a local company, but we do have branches here. Every day at 6pm, Planet Fitness broadcasts a Home Work-In via Facebook Live.
Cedar Rapids Public Library
Tune in to the CR Library Facebook page for all sorts of video programming for all ages! They have children’s stories and fingerplay, talks for teens and more!
Solon Public Library
Solon Public Library is live-streaming Digital Storytimes every Tuesday morning on their Facebook page. They also offer helpful resources for everyone to navigate these difficult times!
Marion Public Library
Follow Marion Public Library on Facebook for guides to children’s resources, YA book recommendations and links to other helpful resources.
M&M Books
This local bookstore posted book recommendations from one of their booksellers on their Facebook page. You can continue to support this local store buy purchasing books online for curbside pickup or home delivery.
Becky’s Mindful Kitchen
This local cooking school is posting cooking, mindfulness, and other fun videos for kids and families on their YouTube channel and on their Facebook page. Subscribe so you don’t miss a video!
Dan & Debbie’s Creamery
This family-owned, fan-favorite dairy is offering LIVE on the Farm videos on Facebook for the next six weeks!
You can also continue to support Dan & Debbie’s with curbside pickup of their fresh dairy products!
Play and Learn- East Central Iowa
Every Thursday at 11:00 Play and Learn holds a live Circle Time on their Facebook page! This includes singing and dancing, a short caregiver message, and reading aloud a few books!
Parent Education Consortium
This great resource for parents includes a Nap Time Parent Hour twice a week to check in on YOUR mental health and sanity. Check out their Facebook page for event details!
Z102.9- Iowa Radio Station
Follow our local radio station on Facebook and tune in for the 3:00 Move and Groove Dance Party each day. Plus they have some other great kids’ activities for your family!
HY-VEE KidsFit
Tune in every day at 8:00 am for 30 Days of Play. You can watch via Facebook or on the website. Keep your family active by doing these fun movements together!
