We had such a fun time at our 2nd Annual Play Date at Allen’s Orchard! The owners are so sweet and are amazing with kids! The kids loved hearing a story, learning how apples are picked and washed, riding on the hayrack ride, visiting the goats, looking for the apple fairy, and of course, picking apples!
Allen’s Orchard has also expanded their play area, with hay bales, corn boxes, and photo opp spaces! The kids especially liked crawling through the tunnel underneath the hay bales!
We loved that each of the kiddos got to eat the apple they picked and a yummy donut!
If you’re looking for an apple orchard that’s small enough to walk with little kids, yet offers tons of apples you can pick yourself, you’re definitely going to want check out Allen’s Orchard! They also offer pears and other produce, as well as delicious treats in their shop!
Allen’s Orchard is open every day from 10:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. and until 7:00 p.m. on Thursdays. They also offer great events on the weekends!
