What Items are Tax Exempt?

Clothing and footwear priced $100 or less/item in Iowa stores.  Clothing is defined as “Any article of wearing apparel and typical footwear intended to be worn on or about the human body.” Store coupons can be used with this promotion!

What Items are Excluded?

Jewelry, watches, sporting & athletic equipment, and any special clothing or footwear designed primarily for athletic activity or protective use and not usually considered appropriate for everyday wear.
