Teen Back to Kindergarten Party- November 9, 3:30-4:30 pm at Lowe Park
Want to go back to the years of nap time and parachute games? Well, we don’t have a time machine, but we can bring back Kindergarten’s greatest hits at our Teen Back to Kindergarten Party! Play parachute games, get some milk and cookies, watch cartoons, play board games like Chutes n Ladders, and color. This event is open to all middle and high school students. Brain STEM: On the Construction Site- November 12 10:30 am
Today’s program demonstrates that kids are engineers! Alicia will share the book On the Construction Site. Then kids will put engineering concepts to the test as they build their own house and roof. Kids and their caregivers are welcome to attend. Hiawatha Library

Bombs Away! November 13 10:00am-12:00pm
Do you hate those blank vacant lots on the side of the road or streets? Have you wanted to put a wildflower garden in one of those lots but not sure how to do it? Or maybe you just want to start a wildflower bed in your backyard. Making seed bombs is cheaper than buying transplants, natural and organic, easy to make, and pocket-sized. Local native wildflower seeds will be used. What a great way to start a pollinator’s heaven! Late fall is a great time to start wildflowers or give these as a holiday gift. Family fun for everyone! Gratitude Rocks! Family Activity November 13, 1:00-3:00 pm
November tends to be a month that we remember all that we have to be grateful for. We will combine gratitude, mindfulness, creativity, and rocks to create keepsakes to remember all year round. Are you a rock painting pro or ready to give it a try? We provide all the materials. Just bring a friend or your family and be ready to create! Activity is for all ages. Each person can create 3 rocks to take home. Cost: $5/person. Wikiup Hill Learning Center

A Charlie Brown Christmas : Live On Stage November 24, 7:00 pm Paramount Theatre
A holiday classic. A Charlie Brown Christmas: Live On Stage encompasses each of your favorite scenes from the original animated television show, with more fun, more music, and more finding the true Christmas spirit. After the final bow, the show crescendos into a celebration of song as the audience is invited to join the Peanuts gang in singing traditional Christmas songs and carols. The show is 90 minutes including intermission.
Cirque Musica Holiday Spectacular November 27, 7:00 pm Paramount Theatre
Cirque Musica Holiday Spectacular is an all-new production featuring some of the greatest holiday songs of all time performed with the world-renowned cast of Cirque Musica.
Audiences will be amazed by the acrobats, aerialists, hilarious hijinks, and holiday cheer. The show blends the spellbinding grace and daredevil athleticism of today’s greatest circus performers with the holiday classics we all love. Tickets are $35-$185.
