My parents both passed away when I was pretty young. I was 12 and 15 to be exact. We didn’t have a single family photo of us 5 and didn’t even realize it until my dad passed away. It sucked. It still sucks. 3 years later my mom was diagnosed with terminal cancer, I became pretty “camera happy” during those events and I’m almost certain I always had one with me. I was constantly trying to “freeze time,” especially when it came to my mom. I wanted as many moments captured as possible, knowing one day, it’s all I’d have left.
Fast forward and I chose to start my own business. I wanted to offer people something I wish I’d have had more of! Time frozen and moments captured. As time went on, I found I had favorites. I love boudoir because we live in a world that tells us what we should be, what we should look like, what we should act like etc. We’re not a checklist, nor are we ingredients in a box. Boudoir photography allows me to show you YOU through another set of eyes. It’s incredible!
