Time: 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Is your family looking for a fun (and air-conditioned) activity over Labor Day weekend? Do you love art? Stop by the Cedar Rapids Museum of Art for scavenger hunts in the galleries and see who can find all the hidden objects in the artwork first. Your prize? A goodie bag full of art materials and instructions for art projects that adults and children can do together at home. Limit one take-home kit per child present. Available while supplies last. TCR at Brucemore- Once
Location: Brucemore
Time: 7:30 PM to 10:00 PM
Performed live and outdoors at Brucemore’s Peggy Boyle Whitworth Amphitheater. From the very first note, Once draws you in and never lets go. This captivating musical is the only show to have music that won an Academy Award, a Grammy Award, an Olivier Award and a Tony Award

Five Seasons Ski Team Show
Location: Ellis Park
Time: 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM
The Five Seasons Ski Team performs a show every Thursday night at Ellis Park in Cedar Rapids, IA June thru Labor Day. Special shows are performed for various communities and festivals. The team also competes in state, regional, and national show ski tournaments. We strive to provide quality family entertainment for the Cedar Rapids area. We also provide a wholesome, fun, activity for area youth and families.

Food Truck Tuesdays
Location: Newbo City Market
Time: 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM
The Market will host Food Truck Tuesday every Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., beginning May 3, in the Market’s yard and parking lot. A variety of food truck vendors will set up under the awning.
Free Yoga: Practice in the Prairie
Location: Indian Creek Nature Center
Time: 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM
Take your practice to the prairie as some of Cedar Rapids’ best instructors teach a different style of yoga or Pilates each week to keep you on your toes! Bring a yoga mat and dress for the outdoors. Class is held on the Amazing Space patio, and in case of rain, will need to be canceled. Arrive a few minutes early to get settled and meet new friends.

Join us at the Lowe Park Arts & Environment Center for nights of fun, socializing, and a chance to win some cash! Games of BINGO will be played for $.25 per card, per game. Cash prizes are paid to the winner of each game. There will also be a few bonus games with increased payouts before the night concludes with a winner-take-all game of blackout. Participants are welcome to bring outside food and drinks to enjoy while they play. PARTICIPATION FEE: $0.25 per card, per game NOTES: Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. Seats and cards are limited and are first come, first serve. Help us celebrate and explore the many people who make up our community. A day to celebrate the diversity and culture of our community, hosted by the Cedar Rapids Public Library and the Cedar Rapids Civil Rights Commission.
