Forget Valentines Day! Well, at least on February 13th, when Galentine’s Day rolls around.
Galentine’s Day is the celebration of platonic relationships among women. It has been gaining in popularity over the past decade after making its initial debut on an episode of Parks and Recreation: “Galentine’s Day”(Season 2, Episode 16 for those of you getting ready to Google it).
So leave the husbands with the kids, the boyfriends at home, or your partner with some take-out, and grab your girls for an evening celebrating the love you have for your gal pals right here in Cedar Rapids!
