Managed by VenuWorks, CREventsLive! encompasses the Alliant Energy PowerHouse, ImOn Ice, McGrath Amphitheatre, and the Paramount Theatre. CREventsLive! Alliant Energy PowerHouse
Located in the heart of downtown Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the Alliant Energy PowerHouse – originally known as the Five Seasons Center – brings “the best of live entertainment to Cedar Rapids”, including nationally-touring concerts, family shows, sporting events, and more!
Paramount Theater
The Paramount Theater was Built in the architecturally extravagant 1920s, the theatre annually hosts concerts, fundraisers, corporate meetings, dance recitals, and a Broadway Series. The Theatre is home to Orchestra Iowa, the region’s premier symphony orchestra.
McGrath Amphitheatre
The McGrath Amphitheatre is a naturalized, outdoor Amphitheatre located on the west bank of the Cedar River within walking distance of downtown. Designed to host community programs as well as ticketed nationally touring events, the Amphitheatre is the destination to enjoy live entertainment in the summer. The first concert to kick off the summer is on Sunday, May 29th with Aaron Lewis & The Stateliners. Community events include the CRBT Movie nights and Blues & Bourbon Festival, as well as others.
ImOn Ice
ImOn Ice has been serving Cedar Rapids as a community center for over 20 years. As a multi-purpose sports and recreation venue with two sheets of ice, we offer public skating, learn to skate, figure skating, youth, and adult hockey, speed skating, birthday parties, private lessons, plus more! After the derecho of 2020 that greatly damaged the building, the arena was closed for a year while renovations took place.
