Downtown Farmers’ Market

Where: Downtown Cedar Rapids between Second and Fourth Avenues SE and Second and Sixth Streets SE.

When: 1st and 3rd Saturdays from May 25th-August 17th plus September 21st, 2019

Time: 7:30 a.m.-Noon

What: The Cedar Rapids Downtown Farmers’ Market, presented by Cedar Rapids Bank & Trust, has become one of the largest open-air markets in the Midwest. The event is produced by the Economic Alliance and averages 14,000 patrons per market. The event features nearly 200 local Iowa vendors offering an array of products from fresh produce and flowers to meats and artisan gifts.

Lion Bridge Farmers’ Market

Where: Lion Bridge Brewing Company’s Parking Lot, 59 16th Ave SW

When: May 30th and September 5th, 2019

Time: 5:00-8:00 p.m.

What: This has become a yearly tradition! We love having our summer evening farmers market at Lion Bridge Brewing Company’s Parking Lot. Enjoy a beer while you shop from local vendors and enjoy music outdoors. Live music by The Banboozlers. 

Market After Dark

Where: Downtown Cedar Rapids between Second and Fourth Avenues SE and Second and Sixth Streets SE.

When: August 24th, 2019

Time: 6:30-11:00 p.m.

What: Market After Dark offers a variety of vendors mixed with lively stage and street entertainment, creating a unique nightlife opportunity for downtown Cedar Rapids. On average, this event brings more than 40,000 people downtown for food, beer, wine, art, entertainment and more!

Noelridge Farmers’ Market

Where: Noelridge Park Market, 4900 Council Street NE, Corner of Collins Road and Council Street NE

When: Mondays/Wednesdays/Fridays (except 5/27 and 9/2) from May 1st-October 11th, 2019

Time: 4:00-6:00 p.m.

What: The Cedar Rapids Parks and Recreation Department operates the Noelridge Farmers’ Market from May through October. Vendors lease the stalls from the City to sell fruits, vegetables, meats, and crafts to local consumers.

Hiawatha

Hiawatha Farmers’ Market

Where: 10th Avenue parking lot of Guthridge Park

When: Sundays, April 28th-October 27th, 2019

Time: 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

What: Hiawatha Farmers Market brings the taste of Iowa Producers to you.

Marion

Marion Farmers’ Market

Where: Taube Park, 2200 31st Street

When: Saturdays from May 4th-September 28th, 2019

Time: 8:00-11:30 a.m.

What: The Marion Farmers’ Market offers a variety of locally grown produce, fresh baked goods, flowers, homemade crafts, and much more. Stop by Taube Park on Saturday mornings and check out all the fantastic offerings that are produced right here in your own community. 

Uptown Marion Market

Where: City Square Park, 2200 31st Street

When: Second Saturdays from June 8th-August 10th and September 28th, 2019

Time: 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. (8:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. on Sep 28)

What: The Uptown and Fall Marion Markets offer fresh produce, baked goods, flowers, Iowa wines, and a wide variety of artisan items – all from local vendors. Grab a bite to eat and enjoy live entertainment from some of the areas finest musicians.

Mount Vernon

Summer Farmers’ Market

Where: First Street Community Center Front Lawn, 221 First Street NE 

When: Thursdays from May 2nd-September 30th, 2019

Time: 4:00-6:00 p.m.

What: The products offered at the Mount Vernon Summer Farmers’ Market are raised, produced, or created in Mount Vernon and the surrounding community.

Central City Farmers’ Market

Where: Mainstreet

When: Thursdays from June 6th-September 26th, 2019

Ely Farmers’ Market

Where: Ely City Hall, 1570 Rowley St.

When: Saturdays from May 4th-October, 2019

Time: 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

What: Our market features local vendors offering homemade, handmade and homegrown goods. Recent markets have featured locally grown produce, baked goods, candles, hair accessories, jewelry, forced bulb arrangements, local authors, jellies.
