About Afton Marie Photography
Afton Marie Photography is a Vinton, Iowa photographer specializing in newborn, children, family and Senior photography. Afton offers a natural light studio in Vinton or on-location shoots around the Cedar Rapids area. We love that she’s also a mom and knows how to work to get that perfect shot!
Meet Afton
“I’m a home grown Iowan who quickly fell in love with photography all the way back to High School. The thing I love most about photography is truly getting to know my clients; the things that make them laugh, feel emotion and what truly makes them who they are. Capturing that on camera is magical! My whole approach when photographing is to just be relaxed, be yourself and most importantly to have FUN! I love all forms of photography but my passion is working with families, children and squishy little babies. I also love and enjoy maternity, engagement and Senior sessions.
When I’m not photographing beautiful families you’ll find me at home with my family. My husband Chad and I got married in 2006, moved to Shellsburg and shortly after our little miracles came along. We have been blessed with 3 beautiful and amazing little girls: Payton, Ainsley and Carrigan and an adorable puppy named Blair. God has truly blessed us!
