Easter is sneaking around the corner like a white fluffy tail! You know what that means, mamas! Filling Easter eggs and baskets! As I’m preparing for the big egg hunt, my mind immediately hops back to our family candy bowl.
Because it is FULL, you guys!
In fact, that ceramic vessel is practically over-flowing with sweet treats from past holidays dating all the way back to Halloween of 2016! Truthfully, our daughter just doesn’t eat that much candy. While our stash has dwindled, the one putting a dent in it has really been yours truly.
As a result, this year I am looking to fill the Easter eggs with mainly non-edible items. I have spent the last couple of weeks brainstorming and scouting around town for some creative, fun gifts to fill the eggs that the kids will love, even if they are sugar-free!

I found several of these ideas and items for Easter egg fillers at places like the Dollar Tree and Party City. Of course, it is always fun to peruse the dollar bins and party sections of big box stores for other creative, affordable finds!
