Paddles in the Pool
Sunday, March 26, 12 – 3 p.m., Bender Pool, Cedar Rapids
This course should whet your appetite for the upcoming open water season covering kayak safety, personal floatation devices (PFD’s), strokes, entering and exiting kayaks and much more, as you immerse yourself with information and some paddling experience in the pool. This is designed for the beginning boater to gain some knowledge and confidence. Bring your own boat if you can, or let us know and we may be able to accommodate. Registration is through Cedar Rapids Parks and Recreation. $10/person and open to ages 10 and up.
