In this 90-minute family workshop, kids will bring a sock puppet to life with the help of Brant Bollman from the Uplifting Puppet Co. We will have a variety of materials to choose from, including hand-dyed tube socks, ping pong ball eyes, buttons, beads, yarn, and more. Kids will build their own sock puppet, create accessories for it, and play in museum exhibits. This workshop teaches the art of puppetry and allows kids to express their creativity and have fun doing it.
This family workshop is recommended for ages four and up. Siblings, caregivers, and friend groups are all welcome! Children must be supervised at all times by the grown-ups in their group.
Registration is required. We ask attendees to pay a minimum of $10 per child for this workshop ($25 value) to help cover the cost of our visiting artist.
