Dolly Parton’s Birthday Party

We are throwing a birthday party in Dolly Parton’s honor and you are invited to help us celebrate! The Library Foundation is the Cedar Rapids affiliate for Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library. We are proud to reach our 5-year milestone and to mail our 300,000th book to a Cedar Rapids child.
What: Dolly Parton’s Birthday Party
When: Saturday, January 21, 10 am to 12 pm
Where: Downtown Library, Beems A & B & Whipple Auditorium
Everyone is welcome to come and enjoy family-friendly activities, Dolly Parton karaoke, and refreshments. Grown-ups can also register their child(ren) to be part of our program that promotes early literacy and kindergarten readiness.
