Czech Heroines: Prominent Czech Women Past and Present Travelling Exhibit

March is Women’s History Month. Celebrate women everywhere and come to the library to check out Czech Heroines travelling exhibit from the National Czech & Slovak Museum & Library.
“Czech Heroines is an illustrated mosaic of the stories of prominent Czech women – rulers, politicians, artists, scientists, and athletes – who left an important mark on history and the present day in the Czech lands and internationally. Included are former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright and tennis champion Martina Navratilova. This exhibit was created by The Czech Centres and the Faculty of Design and Art at the University of West Bohemia.”
