Comic Book Day

Celebrate comic books and graphic novels with hands-on activities, face painting, a photo booth, and a character development workshop with graphic novel author Eric Gapstur.
10 am-noon, Children’s Program Room & Commons: Visit the first floor for face painting, LEGO Building Challenges, a Sphero robot obstacle course, and other activities.
11 am-noon, Whipple Auditorium: Hear from “Sort of Super” author and artist Eric Gapstur about his experience writing graphic novels for middle grade readers. Eric will also demonstrate his artistic process and give a short character development workshop.
