We absolutely love our Cedar Rapids Moms team and we are looking to add a few new Contributors to our team! Writers, microbloggers, and content creators…we’re looking for you!
This is a volunteer position with LOTS of perks!
what you GIVE…
- 1 original post or content creation per month
- A six month commitment
- Availability for in-person contributor meetings
- Availability and willingness to participate in and help with Cedar Rapids Moms events
- A passion for moms, kids, and the Cedar Rapids/Corridor area
- A reliable, positive, and fun personality!

We’re looking for moms who have a passion for motherhood and the Cedar Rapids/Corridor area! Whether you’re a first-time expectant mom, single mom, working mom, or stay-at-home mom, we’d love to hear from you! We’d also love to add some diverse local voices to our team, so we’d especially like to hear from you if you are a single mom, divorced, part of a blended family, an adoptive or foster parent, are part of a minority group, or have another unique parenting perspective.

what you should DO…
- *UPDATED: In 1,000 words or less, submit a writing sample on the topic of your choice, written as though you were already a Contributor for Cedar Rapids Moms.
- Please send this writing sample via Google Doc to info(at)crmoms.com.
- If you are a content creator, please also send samples of your work.
- When you send your writing sample we’ll give you a questionnaire to fill out. Answer the questions and submit it.
- Make it all happen by May 1st!
